UX & UI Designer

Your team – your workday
You will be at the center of a 21-year-old software company joining our Product Development team with 27+ colleagues in Denmark, Russia, and Ukraine. Working with an experienced team of Software and Web Development, Product Management, and Quality Assurance and you will become one of the frontrunners within the eCommerce industry.

Your responsibilities
You’ll fill the role of the core UI/UX Designer in the team that develops and maintains the Dynamicweb platform. The product is targeted for 3rd party developers that need to use, implement, integrate, and extend the software to fit their customer’s needs. It is the UI/UX designer's role to manage all aspects of the product that is related to UX.

Among your primary responsibilities are:

  • Turn design ideas into functional design specifications.
  • Defining and designing the user interfaces and experiences in Dynamicweb with a primary focus on optimizing user productivity.
  • Analyzing UI/UX behavior and refining concepts.
  • Creating new features with product managers to ensure the best possible user interactions.
  • Assisting in creating the look and feel of Dynamicweb ‘best practice’ eCommerce website implementations.
  • Determining customers’ needs and requirements by researching market changes and directions.
  • Presenting features and concepts at conferences and events for internal and external developers and partners.

Your experiences and profile
To succeed in this role, you need to be able to argue your case and drive decision-making from a factual point of view. Therefore, you might have 2-3 years of experience and a University Degree as IT Product Designer, Digital Design, or the like. More importantly, you:

  • Have the ability to convert ideas and market trends into a functional design.
  • Stay curious about the tech industry and keep yourself up to date.
  • Are responsible and passionate about UX.

Personality matter
You will be seated in a humorous and social crowd, and we would love to include you in a team that:

  • Drive to the gas station for cake on a rainy day.
  • Stick around on release day until 7 pm to make sure our finish is top-notch.
  • Share a Friday afternoon beer and talk about life and beyond.

What’s in it for you?
You will be working with the best-in-class developers, and we have a thoroughly scheduled onboarding plan ready to introduce you to some of the coolest colleagues in Aarhus. We like to keep things simple and have an informal structure with lots of laughs and events where you can get to know your teammates. Also, we have a great canteen, a PlayStation, and a cycling team!
